Vintage has never been my favorite style in what I've been looking for, but old objects remind me of who I once was and maybe who I used to be. This feeling, shared by many like me, is one of the reasons why people will always browse antique stores, beyond those looking for a specific, cheap, "unorthodox" or rare item.You should have an appetite to wander around and rummage through their stalls, as a small thing you might discover in one of them is capable of changing your entire psychology, even for a few minutes.How they end up in the hands of an antique dealer, what criteria he uses to put them in his shop, how he prices them, and the various strange stories that accompany them, is described to me by Giorgos Flambouris, a 3rd generation antique dealer who grew up in the “Past Loves” neighborhood of Piraeus.
